From Drabby to Shabby {chic}

I decided to save this piece for myself to play around with, 
thought about what I wanted to do to it for about a month, 
and this is what I came up with...



Here's the before:
I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to sell it but it looks cute so I'm satisfied...

  8. MDF is so difficult to paint! This is a good piece, it will sell. The only thing I would add is trying wax to give it depth, but bravo, for attempting what most people would have jettisoned.
