One thing I love more than the HUNT is the FIND.

I wanted to share some things I've acquired this week.

It's not very uncommon for me to find old windows.
Over the past 4 months about 40 windows have come and gone.
BUT last night I found these...
What's so special about them, you ask?
They date back to the late 1800s/ early 1900s.
What an awesome piece of history!!

This door was torn out of the same home the windows came from
(excuse my mess.)

...and some awesome old wooden crates.

I love my job.
Happy Junkin!

Chunky 80's End Table.

My daddy purchased this end table after he bought his 1st house in the early 80's. Somehow I ended up with it and although ugly (sorry dad) I defiantly didn't want to get rid of it. So, what does Audra do when she thinks something is ugly? She makes it pretty!
Forgot the before picture, sorry!

It sat around for quite sometime but then one day as I was browsing Pinterest I stumbled across a picture from Doubletake Decor and fell. in. love.

Thanks for reading!

Antique 2 Drawer Chest

This was a custom order for Mallory.
Here's the before:

A few months ago, Mallory was my 1st customer for a custom order that wasn't a family member or close friend of mine.
This week, she was my 1st RETURNING customer :)
You can see the 1st piece I painted for HERE

A few weeks ago we got bid off of this piece but then the nice gentleman stopped us outside and explained that he only wanted the mirror that they auctioned off with it (the mirror didn't belong with this piece, they just auctioned them off together and he happened to have a dresser to match the mirror). So, he asked if we'd be interested in buying it from him and of course I said yes!

If you'd like to know what the name of that grey is,
I call it "Audra's grey mixey mix"
It consist of a lot of black, and a little white, a little more white, a little more white, a little more white..., perfect.

Oil rubbed bronze on the hardware, of course.
