How to Chalkboard {Chalkboard Paint} {Rust-Oleum}

 I'm obsessed with chalk boards lately.
They are so fun and EASY! Literally a 1 hour project.
So, I decided to do a quick little how to...

These make great gifts! This one in particular is being gifted to one of my best friends to be used in her wedding.

 I started with this old wooden mirror
I removed the old nasty backing and took out the mirror.
I personally prefer any alternative to taping off.

I primed the mirror and the frame with Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover Primer

I applied 3 coats of Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover Summer Squash to the frame

Then, 3 coats of chalk board paint to the mirror.
The RustOleum Chalk Board Paint SPRAY {found at Home Depot} is much much much easier, smoother, and faster alternative to the brush on.

*Be sure to wear you protective masks and safety glasses!
Reassemble and vuah-la!
