For some, this is an old trick of the trade, but myself and Simply Salvaged are totally new to this product.
I love that it adds so much character with little to no effort.
I grabbed up this dish with a cute little birdie perched on top.
I used Patina Gilders Paste, but you can get it in tons of colors.
You literally just rub your finger around in it and wipe it on.
I like to start light, then add more until I'm satisfied.
...and in just about 10 minutes, my little birdie dish had a whole new look!
If you're in the Huntsville area, please stop by Three French Hens inside of University Pickers for your Gilders Paste.
Be sure to ask Tina, of Three French Hens about her classes where you can learn everything you need to know about gilding!
(you can also find my birdie dish in the Simply Salvaged booth at University Pickers =)
